Three unripe green passion fruits hanging from a vine with green leaves in the background.

About.

Maracuyá (def.) - Passion fruit (in Spanish).

I created Maracuyá because it had always been a dream of mine to have my own publication. As a writer, I tend to write for others’ companies and organizations, and while that is something I enjoy, I wanted to have something more personal that genuinely represents my voice and message.

I am a writer, editor, art curator, and lover of the human and mystical experience in all its forms. My love for art and the beautiful mysteries of life led me here.

It is my pleasure to share pieces of life in this magazine that inspire through artwork, poetry, short-form writing, and philosophical perspectives.

As a native of Peru, maracuyá was always present in my mother’s kitchen and through her food. It always made me smile when she prepared it for me. Its bright colors, textures, and sweet and sour flavors always intrigued me.

This magazine is figuratively passion fruit, but I hope you love it as much as I do and that it fills you with moments of joy and curiosity.

Love,

Claudina Milagros Flores Romero
